Prospective Undergraduate

Minor in Chemistry & Biological Chemistry

Overview

The Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences will offer a Minor in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry starting from July 2005. The minor in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry is offered to all NTU students except students who are majoring in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry. The purpose of this programme is to prepare non-Chemistry and Biological Chemistry major students for a variety of career opportunities related to Chemistry and Biological Chemistry. The programme emphasizes the crucial connections of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry with other sciences. Therefore, it is extremely useful for students majoring in Biological Science, Material Science, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Education, Mathematics and Physics, who want to have some training in the essential aspects of chemical sciences.
