Being a nature guide with Earthlink has left me with many memories to look back on, each one a fruitful experience. I found it meaningful to be able to put more than just a name to the beautiful plants around us and to share what I have learnt with others. Every walk has been an enjoyable exchange between my nature walk participants and I, a learning journey not just for them but for me as well.
With earnest lecturers that share fascinating stories during lessons, time seems to fly pass swiftly at times while being with CBC, SPMS. They have made learning an entertaining activity, fuelling my curiosities while at the same time not forgetting to leave us with the important messages of the day. Their strong emphasis on understanding as opposed to memorising meant that they always painstakingly try to help us grasp the basic concepts, something I am very appreciative of. In addition, I like how there is equal focus placed on learning in the classroom and in the laboratory here, allowing students a hands-on experience in research right from Year One. For me, these are the valuable points that make my experience here an enriching one.
