The pre-requisite system does allow students to take some year 4 PEs in the second semester of year 3. For instance, students may take CM4011, 4041, 4042 and 4043 if these courses are offered. Students should check course information for more details.

Students planning to graduate in three and a half years may need to take CM3021 or CM3031 early as this will allow them to take further year 4 PE’s early:

Students planning to graduate early are strongly advised to consider carefully whether they can handle the heavier academic load.
Students are advised that the two tables above for early graduation are illustrative and not prescriptive. Other schedules should also be possible, subject to pre-requisite requirements.
There is no requirement to inform the Division or School that you plan to graduate early as this is done through the ordinary registration process. The University will automatically know when you have satisfied all of the requirements.
