- Congratulations to Ms Joyce Wei Wei Chang (Asst. Prof. Philip Chan's PhD student) for winning a Singapore Millennium Foundation Scholarship Award.
- Congratulations to Asst Prof. Philip Chan for winning the inaugural 2008 SPMS Young Researcher Award.
- Congratulations to Asst Profs. Edwin Yeow, Shunsuke Chiba, and Roderick Bates, and Dr. Sumod A. Pullarkat for winning the SPMS Teaching Awards (2008).
- Congratulations to Ms Tan Li Huey, our first B.Sc. (Hons) graduate! Li Huey, who joined CBC as part of the pioneering undergraduate batch in 2005, was on the Fast Track Bachelor’s Program in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry in which she completed in 3 years.

- Congratulations to Asst Profs Philip Wai Hong Chan and Xuewei Liu from CBC for winning the 1st Asian Core Program (ACP) Lectureship Award 2007. Asst Prof Chan is the recipient of two ACP Awards, while Asst Prof Liu is the recipient of one ACP Award.
- Congratulations to Joyce Chang Wei Wei and Fu Fan from CBC for winning the Pfizer Asia Pacific Scholarship (2006)
- Congratulations to Mr Cheng Hin Soon (student of Prof. Loh Teck Peng) for being awarded the Singapore Millennium scholarship.
