A group of 8 faculty members - Prof. Lee Soo Ying, Prof. Leung Pak Hing, Assoc. Prof. Roderick Bates,Assoc. Prof. Chen Hongyu, Assoc. Prof. Xing Bengang, Dr Naohiko Yoshikai, Dr Edwin Yeow, and Dr Ling Xing Yi - were at the University of Cambridge on 27-28 February, to participate in the Cambridge-NTU Chemistry Workshop, with speakers from both Cambridge Chemistry and NTU Chemistry. Student exchange and research collaboration were discussed and will be implemented.

Congratulations to Dr Ling Xing Yi for being awarded the prestigious National Research Foundation Research Fellowship (NRF RF) cum Nanyang Assistant Professorship 2012. This brings the total number of NRF RFs in the Division to five: Dr Steve Zhou, Dr Robin Chi, Dr Naohiko Yoshikai, Dr Zhao Yanli and Dr Ling Xing Yi. Clearly, the highest concentration of NRF RFs in Singapore.
